Termites (often called “white ants”) can cause serious structural damage long before they’re visible. The key is early detection, proper eradication, and ongoing prevention tailored to your home and budget.
What’s included with Equip:
Do not disturb termite workings or spray with insect sprays. Termites can detect disturbance and will avoid the area, redirecting to concealed locations and causing more damage.
Do call us as soon as possible for a free termite assessment and quotation so the invading colony can be eradicated properly, and preventative measures can be recommended to suit your budget.
If any of the above conditions apply, removing or rectifying them can lower the risk of termite attack.
When quoting, we typically recommend:
Note: baiting systems don’t physically block concealed entry — they help manage colonies and future activity as part of a complete plan.
After an inspection, we’ll present multiple options to protect your property against future termite attacks.
Ignoring early signs of termite or pest activity can lead to costly structural repairs, health risks, and loss of property value. Termites often remain hidden inside walls and timbers while causing serious damage.
Without regular inspections and timely treatment, a small infestation can spread through wall cavities, flooring, and structural timber — sometimes before visible damage appears on the surface.
Early action with professional inspection and treatment is the best way to protect your home, family, and long-term investment.
Equip Pest & Termites has developed three monitoring and baiting systems designed to eradicate entire termite colonies. They’re environmentally friendly, unobtrusive (underground installation), and pose no risk to family or pets when used as directed.
System 1: includes a warning indicator to alert you to activity. Once activated, allow around 6 weeks for build-up before treatment.
System 2: includes viewing ports so early activity can be checked by removing caps; treated once sufficient numbers are present.
System 3: pre-treated on installation and typically requires two inspections per year to check and/or replace bait.
